Employers are prioritizing ways to increase access to jobs for individuals with Autism, and improve retention through job support. The Autism Society of America fields calls daily from employers seeking guidance to create more inclusive workplaces. Acceptance is accommodating the unique needs of individuals with Autism. Over 70% of Autistic adults are underemployed or unemployed, and only about one-third of these adults work in paid jobs for more than 15 hours a week.
