As the weather improves in many parts of the country and people spend more time outdoors, Lyme disease becomes a concern. Lyme disease is the most common tickborne infectious disease in the United States. Common symptoms include fever, headache, fatigue, and a red rash that sometimes looks like a bull's eye.

Antibiotics are the only known effective treatment for Lyme disease. There hasn't been enough research on "natural" or other alternative treatments for Lyme disease, such as essential oils or oxygen, energy, nutritional, or herbal therapies, to show whether they are effective.
