This Autism Acceptance Month, let’s close the gap

During Autism Acceptance Month, we’re putting the focus exactly where it should be — on our diverse community

Dear Hcis,

During Autism Acceptance Month, we’re putting the focus exactly where it should be — on our diverse community of Autistic individuals, their families and caregivers, and the first responders, educators, and healthcare providers who help us break down barriers to inclusion and equity.

Individuals with Autism and other developmental disabilities face gross inequities related to health, safety, education, employment, and well-being. There remains a huge gap between the needs, and the resources available, for Autistic people in areas like criminal justice, healthcare, services, and support.

But when you make your gift during Autism Acceptance Month, the Autism Society can help close this gap and create life-changing connections — empowering everyone in the Autism community to access the resources and support they need, when they need it.

GIVE TODAY

BREAKING NEWS: Two generous Autism Society Board members and their spouses will match every dollar you give during Autism Acceptance Month — up to $30,000 total! Our thanks to Board Chair Tracey Staley and her husband Mike along with Treasurer Howard Miller and his wife Sara!

Every person with Autism is different, Hcis. And with your support, the Autism Society can #CelebrateDifferences, create connections, advocate, and champion empowerment and justice for every individual on the spectrum.

Help us advance representation and expand our positive impact

during Autism Acceptance Month with a gift.

With appreciation,

Christopher Banks

President & CEO

Autism Society of America

P.S. Please join us as we work together to create a more accepting world for everyone with Autism. And please help us take advantage of this generous matching gift!
