This National Eye Exam Month, we’re emphasizing the importance of routine eye exams and raising awareness about the link between diabetes and eye health. Here’s how you can help.
Your donation brings awareness to diabetes and eye health.
Friend,
Diabetes is the leading cause of new cases of blindness among working-age adults. That’s why this National Eye Exam Month, we’re bringing awareness to the importance of routine eye exams that can help identify existing eye diseases to prevent or delay vision loss caused by diabetes.
Thanks to donors like you, the American Diabetes Association® (ADA) provides resources through our Focus on Diabetes® initiative, which provides resources and education to communities at risk of or living with diabetes and the health care providers that support them.
A donation of $75 can help us improve access to diabetes
risk test screening and eye exams for 37 people.
At the ADA, we strive to make preventative resources like these available to reduce the risk of vision loss due to diabetes. Will you donate today to help even more people access these tools?
