Diseases caused by fungi, a group which includes molds, yeasts and mushrooms, can be deadly—and people with weakened immune systems are often at high risk. To mark Fungal Disease Awareness Week, NIAID is highlighting some clinical trials which may lead to improved treatments for fungal diseases.
