The Autism Society of America endeavors to fulfill that promise. For 61 of those years, the Autism Society has worked to ensure that promise includes every individual on the Autism spectrum.

Since our founding, we have worked tirelessly alongside our affiliate network, self-advocates, parents, families, caregivers, professionals, and partners to build a world where acceptance is not conditional, empathy is abundant, opportunities are accessible, and every person can thrive in their own unique way. Together, we have helped advance policies and create pathways to greater belonging and opportunities that were once unimaginable.
