On this 35th World AIDS Day, NIAID remembers the many lives affected by HIV and AIDS, including populations historically burdened by the stigma, discrimination, and health disparities amplified through the pandemic. The Institute remains committed to working collectively with research and community partners to continue advancing science to improve HIV testing, prevention, and treatment for all people affected by HIV.
